FABRIC DUCT

Why Fabric Ducting?

  • Convenient maintenance (disassembly/washing/reinstallation)
  • Even supply across the duct surface
  • Easy transportation and installation
  • Excellent low-noise performance
  • Flexible connection to existing ducts/structures
  • Custom design adapts to any structure
  • No additional insulation or soundproofing required
  • Outstanding weight reduction compared to steel ducts
  • No condensation, no additional insulation required

Features and Benefits

Fabric ducts are typically made of ultra-light fabric instead of galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminum
Available in shapes optimized for the transmission and distribution of cool and heated air such as circular, hemispherical, quadrangular and squre

Why Fabric Duct?

Flexibility and customization are the hallmarks of EURO AIR's Textile-Based Ventilation solutions. Customers have complete freedom to choose the size that best suits their building structure. Furthermore, they have unlimited choices in system layout, color, and material, and even the type of TBV system (Passive, Hybrid, Active, etc.).
We are the only company in the world to offer customized fibers through our own weaving mill. Our materials are designed for air distribution not tents or sunshades, so we prioritize uniform air distribution, post-wash shrinkage, colorfastness and dust holding capacity (DHC). We offer a wide range of standard colors and can also dye our fibers to your desired color using our standard color system (at an additional cost)
Fabric duct is ideal for efficiently and evenly distributing fresh air throughout a room. Unpleasant air and inadequate ventilation can lead to fatigue and headaches
AlL EURO AIR materials are fire-tested and approved according to international fire standards including EN 13501-1
Our low-impulse system features unique noise-reducing properties. Therefore, with precise dimensional adjustment, it can be used as a sound studio at no additional cost. At the same time, the fibers provide a noise-reducing effect by absorbing and dispersing noise reflected from beneath the ceiling
All of our low impulse and hybrid ducts (not coated materials) are made of permeable fibers that allow fine air to diffuse through the surface. This prevents condensation on the surface, even in very humid rooms (>90% RH), eliminating the need for additional insulation
Our materials wight between 260 and 330g/ m, makng them significantly lighter than Spiro Duct. Furthermore, fabric ducts are easy to handle and transport, folding them into boxes weigting up to 25kg. EURO AIR's suspension rails are supplied in precise lengths, making installation much easier and faster than other similar systems
AlL TBV systems are easily removable and machine washable. Our Trevira CS absorbs only 1% moisture, even at relative humidity levels exceeding 90% and is also approved for the food industry. In extremely himid environments, additional anti-bacterial treatment is recommmended to prevent mold and mildew growth. This effect is not observed at humidity levels below 85%
All EURO AIR fabric ducts are based on Oeko-Tex standard 100 certified yarn (12.0.03665). Our production is certified to ISO 14001 standard (environmental Management System). Transport and disposal of fabric duct systems generates less CO2 emissions than conventional steel ducts.
